SDG PROJECTS

Students taking action for SDGs

Now Accepting Applications!

Submission Due Date: May 1, 2024, 23:59 JST

The Sustainable Development Goals Projects (SDG Projects) is a funding opportunity offered by the Japan ICU Foundation to support student-led projects that are aligned with and contributes to the SDGs. This initiative prioritizes projects implemented on campus or within the local community during the academic term.

Through the SDG Projects, JICUF aspires to cultivate the ideals of global citizenship by giving students the chance to conceptualize and execute projects that resonate with the SDGs. In the process, students will naturally acquire project management, communication, and critical thinking skills, all while exploring how they can contribute to the well-being of humanity.

JICUF supports a variety of activities through this program. The following are examples of projects we can support. In addition to these, we are also looking forward to your creative ideas.

  • Workshops and Lectures
  • Activities to Promote Collaboration with the Local Community
  • Community Service Activities
  • Campus Sustainability Initiatives
  • Activities to Promote Interaction Between People with Different Backgrounds
